STAY IN THE KNOW
ABOUT ME.
I am an educator, performer and film presenter recognised as 'Activist of the Year,' ‘campaigning role model’ and 'BBC Greater Londoner' for founding ‘Queer Tours of London - A Mince Through Time’. My book 'United Queerdom’ won Observer book of the week and I have just finished touring with ‘Queer Footprints - A Guide to Uncovering London’s Fierce History’.
As a grassroots self-employed human rights defender, film presenter, investigative reporter and art-activist, I have been known for high-profile political stunts such as supergluing the former UK Prime Minister demanding climate action or organising HIV anti-stigma classes as part of the anti-fascist 'Beyond UKIP Cabaret' in Nigel Farage's pub. But, behind the scenes, I continue to dedicate my life to transformational leadership supporting a wide range of social justice movements.
CAUSES CLOSE TO MY HEART
2015-2017
Hugely influenced by my Grandparents stories surviving the Nazi Holocaust, I have helped catalyse empowerment programmes in the UK, Germany, Uganda, Poland, Russia and beyond since starting 'Never Again Ever,' a network of grandchildren of the Holocaust demanding action over inherited trauma.

TFT
I am on the international leadership committee of the Training for Transformation educational programme born out of the Anti-Apartheid movement, that enables social justice movements to develop critical consciousness and creativity at the core of their efficacy. My recent programmes involve facilitating mass-trainings with the Beautiful Trouble art-ivist network and as an artist with ‘In Place of War’, facilitating the Gay Liberation Front 50th anniversary Pride celebrations and presenting the films ‘Never Again - Fighting the Polish far-right’ and ‘Censoring Palestine - the Weaponising Anti-semitism’.
2007-2010
ACT UP
Reforming ‘Aids Coalition to Unleash Power (ACT UP) London chapter, I have been part of catalysing healthcare and sex-positive programmes including campaigning for PREP, protecting the National Health Service through presenting "Death by a Thousand Cuts: The Great NHS Sell-Off” which won "Award of Excellence" at the DOCS Without Borders Film Festival and producing 'HIV / HEP Blind Date' a theatre dating- show for people living with HIV and related conditions.
I recently founded Queer/Trans Muay Thai & Self Defence movement Bender Defenders and Queer Night Pride to confront rising hate crime and I am now working on a new film and book that celebrates trailblazing LGBTQIA+ activists from World War 2, to come out in 2024 - 2025.
