Depending on who you ask Dan Glass is an Activist of the Year, a campaigning role model and BBC Greater Londoner or ‘Scum’ (Nigel Farage) or a ‘Furious Gay Activist’ (Daily Mail).
Dan re-formed AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power (ACT UP) London chapter helping win access to life saving medication PrEP. Other highlights include HIV Blind Date and ALL ABOARD ACT UP. Get your ticket for This is Your Life for World AIDS Day 2025.
Dan is a freedom movement catalyst these include Queer Tours of London, Bender Defenders and This is My Culture. He is the author of United Queerdom and Queer Footprints, artist with In Place of War, scholar at Training for Transformation and film presenter including Beautiful Trouble, Censoring Palestine and Never Again.
Dan is the network developer for ‘The Glass Is Half Full’ collective whose programmes outlined here take pleasure in overcoming injustice through creativity and critical education.
